What is a Megaminx anyway?

The Megaminx is a 12-sided dodecahedron puzzle, similar to a 3x3 cube, but with more layers, more faces and most importantly: many more possibilities.
Each side has five edges, which makes solving a little longer but feels surprisingly logical to anyone with experience with a 3×3.

Many cubers think Megaminx is "very difficult," but most people are surprised at how natural the puzzle feels once you start. The basics of the solve are very similar to 3x3.
