Warranty

With us, you buy high-quality speedcubes and brain teasers. We stand behind our products and therefore offer a 12-month warranty.

What is covered by the warranty?

The warranty applies to all manufacturing defects. These are defects that arose during the production process. This includes:

  • Manufacturing or factory defects
  • Missing parts upon receipt
  • Material damage upon receipt
  • Defect upon receipt

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Incorrect or improper use
  • Damage due to self-repair
  • Fall damage or defects due to falling
  • Damage caused by a child
  • Missing parts upon receipt, reported later than 7 days after receipt
  • Material damage upon receipt, reported later than 7 days after receipt

Regarding the warranty, we always make a judgment in line with the manufacturer's assessment of whether a case falls within the warranty, provided it is reasonable.

How to claim the warranty?

If your speedcubes or brain teasers break within the warranty period, you can make a claim with us. You can do this via the returns page. Make sure to return the defective item in its original packaging, if possible.

When making your claim, please include the following:

  • A copy of your purchase receipt
  • A clear description of the damage
  • Photos of the damage

We will process your claim as quickly as possible. We aim to process all claims within 14 days. If the damage is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the toy free of charge. Sometimes it is possible to repair a defective item; you can read more about this below.

Tips for maintaining the warranty

To maintain the warranty, it is important to properly maintain the toy. Therefore, always read the user manual before using the toy.

Here are some tips for toy maintenance:

  • Read the user manual before using the toy.
  • Store the toy in a dry and clean place.
  • Do not use the toy for purposes other than intended.
  • Do not repair the toy yourself if parts come loose.

If you follow these tips, you reduce the chance of the toy breaking and the warranty remains valid.

 

Repair

If your toy breaks, it is sometimes possible that it can be repaired.

If you want your toy repaired or it needs repair, you can request this from us. Please send an email to info@mcubes.nl.

When making your repair request, please include the following:

  • A copy of your purchase receipt
  • A clear description of the damage
  • Photos of the damage

The cost of the repair depends on the severity of the damage. If the damage is covered by the warranty, the repair costs are borne by us. If the damage is not covered by the warranty, the repair costs are borne by the buyer.

We will process your repair request as quickly as possible. If the damage can be repaired, we will send you a quote. If you agree to the quote, we will repair the toy and send it back as soon as possible.
